About this Event
The BSA Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Special Interest Group (THSIG) are hosting an interactive all-day face-to-face workshop on tinnitus, hyperacusis and mental health.
This will include:
- An update on our survey on the current state of engagement of audiology services with mental health services
- Guidance and discussion in the use and interpretation of mental health screening questionnaires and tinnitus/hyperacusis questionnaires and consideration of the next steps
- Interactive session on how we can improve services including training, accreditation and liaison with mental health services
Lead by a multi-disciplinary team from the THSIG, this will be an informal and relaxed day, and a safe space to discuss sometimes challenging topics.
This workshop is open to clinicians that currently deliver a tinnitus/hyperacusis service. There is no charge to attend, and lunch/refreshments will be provided.
Places are strictly limited so that everyone will get a chance to participate in the discussions. Please reserve your place as soon as possible.
