CALLING ALL GOOD~TIMERS!!!This super fun SURFING EVENT celebrates the re-surfacing of classic Vintage Twin-fin surfboards from the late seventies and eighties and offers competing surfers a unique opportunity to ride them..then party up back at the Oakura Boardriders Club.
Nothing serious! This is a ‘funtest’ for guys and girls where
DRESS UP IS COMPULSORY!
This year's dress-up theme is VINTAGE SURF - BUT with an ''APOCALYPSE HORROR'' spin..so bring ya scare for the shredding...
TnT serves a classic day at the beach with ENTERTAINING SURFING...hearty laughs, cold drinks, music and epic surfboards on show!
The event is mobile! Depending on surf conditions we will aim to make a call the day before. Watch for updates on event.
After the days surfing we have the Prize-giving & continued DRESS-UP PARTY back at the Clubhouse with LIVE MUSIC.
Auckland band ‘THE STEELE TAYLORS’ will be belting out two 1 hour sets of epic Punk Rock cover ampers!
Following with Dj 'MAD WAX' who will send us bumping deeper into the eve with a frothy mix of house-rollers (with a haunted 80s tweak on it!)

SCHEDULE: (Targets...)
8:30am - First Heat starts!
Aim to finish surfing by 4:30/5...
5pm Oakura Boardriders Club opens ( Bar operating)
7:30pm Prize giving
8:30 First band 'THE STEELE TAYLORS'
followed by DJ MAD WAX.
COMPETITORS DETAILS:
THIS IS A VINTAGE ERA SURF DRESS-UP EVENT!
Limited to 48 bloke Surfers and Gals! First in first toobed!
Surfers collectively decide on the top 8 fav boards for the days surfing. Numbers will be drawn to determine which board you will ride for each heat!
(Some vintage boards will only be for show) Judges will be dialled in to award surfers with classic lines fused with radical commitment, creative flair & personality. 20minute - 4 man expression session heats!
