All Day: Big and Little Builders
Put your engineering skills to the test to construct different structures.
9:30 am - 3 pm: SPECIAL GUEST - LiUNA 1059
LiUNA Local 1059 Training Centre will be visiting the London Children's Museum to provide visitors with the opportunity to test their hands with small-scale replicas of real construction materials.
9:30 - 11 am: Early Years Play Dates
This weekly, drop-in program encourages early years children (age 0-5) and their caregivers to spend quality time learning and playing together. This week's theme: Volcanic Fun
11 am - 12 pm: Elephant Toothpaste
Experiment with different chemical reactions to make toothpaste large enough for an elephant.
2:30 - 3:30 pm: Giant Catapult
Hypothesize, test, and observe as we launch water balloons using a giant catapult. Consider wind dynamics, mass, trajectory, and more to launch the furthest balloon, or create maximum splatter!
