Superintendent Matt Davidson will be the featured speaker on Thursday, November 14 at 7pm in the Huizenga Auditorium. He will be speaking on a highly relevant topic — The Ultimate Joy of Parenting. It's becoming increasingly difficult for parents to encounter sound Biblical teaching and training on raising children, often leaving parents to their own DIY curiosities during these critical years. Parents are eager to learn and sometimes even desperate for help in raising children. Although "being a kid" is harder than ever before in American history, the playbook for parents remains the same.*What does the Bible say about parenting?
*And how can I put it into practice in 2024?
*How does it relate to my child and my situation?
Come join us to learn more...to be encouraged, inspired, and challenged. It's a tough job, but the outcome is the apex of joy when we get it right.
This event is free and open to the public. Of course, the target audience is parents — married couples with children, single parents, grandparents. However, you don't have to currently be a parent to attend. (We do politely ask that the event is limited to adults.)
Doors open at 6:30pm. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.
