P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Timothy J. Heaphy for a discussion of his newest book, : a clear-eyed assessment of how to combat misinformation and avoid episodes of political violence, from the lead investigator into both the 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville and the January 6th insurrection.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Timothy J. Heaphy was Chief Investigative Counsel of the House of Representatives Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol. He also oversaw the independent investigation into the August 12, 2017 riot in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is currently partner at Willkie, Farr & Gallagher LLP and previously served as the Obama-appointed US Attorney for the Western District of Virginia. He lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with his family.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR
is an Emmy-nominated producer, author, and freelance journalist with bylines in CNN, The Guardian, Teen Vogue, VICE News, POLITICO, The Washington Post, and more. She is the author of the forthcoming book, 24 Hours at the Capitol: An Oral History of the January 6 Insurrection. She also wrote the previous book, and two other books for younger readers. She is also the founder of the Longform Lab, a writing and editorial services company that helped research and develop Harbingers.
