"ALPHA STRATEGY was formed by Hinchey, its start back in 2011 originally a solo project but subsequently expanding with an all-Canadian line-up. They released two albums with the 2018 uncaged second, The Gurgler, keenly embraced. The band then relocated from Toronto to Berlin soon after its release but eventually its members went home to Canada with Hinchey moving to Prague and in time enlisting guitarist Martin Doležal (Très, Bazdesh, ex-Stinka), drummer Filip Miškařík (Hothouse, Très), and bassist Ondřej Červený (ex-Stinka) as the band moved forward. Its sound is an unpredictable fusion of noise rock, punk, post punk and more besides in its exploratory appetite, a proposition which has seen the band likened to bands such as THE BIRTHDAY PARTY, THE JESUS LIZARD, and GILLA BAND." -- The RingMaster Rewiew
