A NEW WAY TO RUN OUR COUNTRY - POLITICS IS BROKEN, BUT YOU ARE THE FIX
Everyone is invited: workers, students, homemakers, candidates, local groups, trade unionists, families, faith groups, and community members.
Assemble is here to support, build, and fund People’s Assemblies - big meetups with neighbours - where local people decide how to run this country. Communities will put up independent candidates in the general election to represent their choices in Parliament.
This is real democracy, and it will improve our lives and futures.
Many groups are working together to support candidates that represent the people. This event offers talks and workshops from these groups that will provide the tools, resources, and energy to run our country in a new way that puts people first.

No long speeches. Pathways to action guaranteed. Your voice will be heard.
What needs to be done about:
- Impossible to afford essentials?
- Britain’s complicity in Gaza?
- Dangerous pollution where we live?
…and all the other issues that the politicians never asked us about?
This will not be a place to:
- Swear loyalty to one leader or one group
- Hear the same thing repeatedly
- Get bossed around.
It will be a place for you to connect and build with neighbours and candidates. It will be a place to learn about a new model of democracy and secure funding to get started the next day. It will be an incubator to change the system.
