This month, come audition for the regional premiere of "Timbuktu, USA" by Ken Prestininzi, slated to go up this January! This raucous, sex-fueled political comedy tells the story of Kelly Kilkenny, a highly decorated career politician who formulates a devious, nepotistic plot to attain the ultimate seat of power – the American presidency.
Rehearsals will start the week of December 8th, and performances will take place at the New Marigny Theatre in late January/early February, with a longer break for the holidays from December 22nd-January 1st. The production will be directed by Intramural member Frenchie Faith, and stipend for actors will amount to $800 - $1,000, depending on the role.
Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th from 5:30-9:30PM at Catapult (609 St. Ferdinand St.), with 30-minute audition slots. Callbacks will be held from 6-9PM on Monday, September 30th at Catapult.
