Tiger's Tale performs in the loving spirit of the Jerry Garcia Band's later years presenting a wide range of well-known Motown, reggae, R&B, rock and soul covers from the "the Jerry band" songbook.Jerry played his "Tiger" guitar with the Jerry Garcia Band from 1979 onward. It was his guitar of choice throughout the '80s and was the last guitar he played before he died in 1995. What tales would Tiger tell if it were played again? The Santa Cruz-based band features Jim Lewin on guitar (Edge of the West), Josh Salesin on keyboards (Crate Diggers), Sebastian Hegenbart on bass (Way Out West), and Michael Owens on drums (China Cats) with backing vocalists Diana Zitmanis & Michele Whizin.
