About this Event
This is a public call out!
We are reclaiming Wales' hidden legacy of sport.
Following national recognition that world class rugby players from South Cardiff, were prohibited from representing our country, due to racial and societal prejudice.
Tiger Bay and the World are taking on sport!
From Paulo Radmilovic to 'Peerless' Jim Driscoll to Sir William John Boston, our unique heritage is steeped in a history, where industry and migration have brought continents together, forging community bonds of resilience that nurtured a legacy of greatness.
These are tales of triumph over adversity on and off the pitch...with many more stories, yet to be told.
Can you help shine a spotlight on sport, by sharing your memories with Tiger Bay and the World?
From Cricket to Baseball, Rugby to Boxing and everything in between.
We are on a mission to elevate the achievements of those who came before us and inspire generations who come after, by ensuring our champions and the communities that shaped them, are not forgotten!
Tiger Bay and the World, need you.
Come along to our new weekly drop-in sessions where you can add your photographs and stories to our digital archive, with the guidance of trained volunteers who will scan and catalogue images, then and there, for you to take home.
Creating a groundbreaking online sports collection, that reflects our heritage and belongs to us all.
During this time, there will be opportunities to explore the work of Tiger Bay and the World, meet new people with a shared sense of belonging and enjoy candid conversations from community perspectives.
Your story is our story, get involved and help keep it alive!
