Who is Tierney Training Academy?
Tierney Training Academy is a performance-driven lacrosse training organization known for purposeful, high-energy training that translates directly to game play. Their approach blends athletic movement, lacrosse fundamentals, offensive skill development, and lacrosse IQ, helping players become more confident, more explosive, and smarter on the field.
Meet the Coaches:
• Ryan Tierney – Founder of Tierney Training Academy, Ryan was an elite collegiate attackman at Hofstra University, where he became the program’s all-time leader in goals and points, earned All-America honors, and was named CAA Offensive Player of the Year. He was later drafted 16th overall in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) and represented the USA Men’s Sixes National Team internationally. Ryan brings experience from the highest levels of the game and a passion for helping young players train with purpose and confidence.
• Jeremy Martens – Jeremy is a highly respected lacrosse performance and development coach who excels at connecting athletic movement with on-field success. His coaching focuses on helping players move efficiently, build confidence, and develop habits that make them better athletes and better teammates, all while keeping training engaging and age-appropriate.
Clinic Details:
• Open to Wolfpack Boys 8U–18U
• 3-hour high-energy clinic
• Focus on movement, stick skills, shooting, dodging, and offensive decision-making
• Coach-led Q&A to help players better understand the game
