About this Event
This training is designed for individuals who work in-depth to supporting individuals in accessing and supporting them through individualised services, referrals and even case management.
It is the foundational training for Tier 2 System Navigators and provides a background on the Lethbridge Integrated Coordinated Access (ICA) System. It is the first in up to four trainings that are required for individuals to be considered fully certified and receive a certificate as a Tier 2 System Navigator.
Through this full day session individuals will be introduced to the concepts and components of the Lethbridge ICA System, including the challenges and struggles of system navigation, ways to overcome and adapt, introduction of foundational skills, common terminology used in the system, assessment tools that are currently utilized in the system, as well as the tools and resources that are available.
The session consists of lecture-based training, small group work, scenario-based training, and a presentation component to ensure that Tier 2 System Navigators have the ability to learn from one another about resources and agencies and how to present client cases to collaborative groups such as the Coordinated Access Round Table (CART).
Please ensure that you have the staff member attending the session register with their name and email address for accuracy of registration lists at the session, and for certification.
If you are unable to attend after registering, please make sure that you cancel to open the space for another attendee.
NOTE: Tier 1 System Navigator Training does not need to be taken as a pre-requisite for Tier 2 System Navigators. Sign up for the training that is most relevant for your role.
