Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Lake City Partners with CARC for the Annual Charity Day Event on September 20th CARC Lake City to Receive Proceeds from Local Philanthropic Event.
Lake City, FL August 23, 2024 -- Tidal Wave Auto Spa is pleased to announce its 16th annual Charity Day, benefiting local charity and non-profit organizations, will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024. As part of the company’s commitment to giving back, Tidal Wave will donate 100% of wash proceeds made across their footprint during the one-day philanthropic event.
This year, Tidal Wave Auto Spa’s Lake City location at 3039 W US HWY 90 is pleased to partner with CARC. CARC promotes and protects the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities by advocating for a broad range of issues that affect their lives.
We include Columbia County Citizens with disabilities by providing choices, opportunities, and training for more independent functioning.
We are a private, not for profit 501(c)3 service organization providing training, employment, residential and other support opportunities for persons with disabilities.
The ultimate goal of all services is to include persons with disabilities in the community by focusing on their abilities and providing the support services that they need and desire.
We recognize the dignity and worth of persons with disabilities and wish to empower them and their families to meet their own needs. CARC will receive 50% of all proceeds made at this location during the September 20th event. The remaining 50% will be donated to the company’s longtime corporate partner, Annandale Village, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing progressive life assistance to adults with developmental disabilities.
Tidal Wave’s Charity Day event won the company their first gold Brandon Hall Group Excellence Award for Best Initiative for Philanthropy and Corporate Giving in 2023. Over the event’s 15-year history, Tidal Wave has donated over $1,360,000, with over $360,000 raised in 2023. This year is set to be the company’s largest Charity Day yet, with 269 locations partnering with over 250 charitable organizations across their footprint.
