Barbara Meger will teach her own design. Ticking work has been around at least from the mid 19th century. Once mattresses and pillows were filled, the frugal housewife would use the leftover ticking fabric to showcase her knowledge of embroidery stitches and up up scraps of cording, braid, etc.This project is a stash buster. Use threads from previous class kits and pieces of braid and trim. You can also use kumihimo braids.
