tick, tick...BOOM! is an exciting and heartfelt semi-autobiographical play about a composer and waiter, Jonathan Larson, who describes the anxiety he feels as his 30th birthday is approaching. Jon is feeling an immense amount of pressure because he wants to write the next big successful musical as he feels like he’s running out of time. Meanwhile, his dancer girlfriend Susan is longing for a simpler life outside of NYC. His best friend, Michael, despite also wanting a career in theatre arts, pursues a more practical approach and gets a job as a market research executive. Come join us at The Student Lab Theatre to see this moving story about dreams, struggles, and time!
