WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Join us for a special Lil' readers session for Día de los Muertos.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
- Friday, November 1, 2024 | 12pm-1:30pm
- All materials will be provided.
- Light refreshments and snacks will be sold on-site.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
- This workshop is intended for ages 0-5, but all ages are welcome!
- Minors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
PARKING
We are located in a shopping plaza right next to Food4Less. Parking is free.

About our teaching artist:
Emilia Cruz is an artist based in Simi Valley, CA. She was born in San Diego, CA, while both of her parents were born and raised in different regions of Mexico. Her artwork pays homage to these roots through her use of bright and vivid color palettes. Many of her paintings celebrate familiar faces and feel as if they are placed in other-wordly settings.
Sobre nuestra artista docente:
Emilia Cruz es una artista que vive en Simi Valley, CA. Nació en San Diego, CA, y sus padres nacieron y crecieron en diferentes regiones de México. Su obra de arte rinde homenaje a estas raíces mediante el uso de paletas de colores vivos y brillantes. Muchas de sus pinturas celebran rostros familiares y se sienten como si estuvieran ubicadas en entornos de otro mundo.
