Due to the popularity of our Friday home ed group we are organising an additional group on Thursdays. Led by fully trained forest school practitioners we will meet once a week in a welcoming outdoor space to relax and enjoy being amongst plants and animals in sun or rain-we do have a shelter and we can teach you how to make one too...!
There will be opportunities to engage in topics such as nature identification, pond dipping, seasonal foraging, outdoor cooking, nature inspired crafts and practical skills such as wood whittling, fire lighting, using tools and habitat creation.
Here at EcoGrow we follow a child led, free flowing, nature based primary age appropriate curriculum and look at your child's interests and needs when designing our weekly activities.
All sessions are outside so appropriate clothes and footwear must be warm each week.
10:00-12:00 every Thursday morning.
Primary age children.
Cost is £10 per child per week. Total £60 per child per block.
Siblings under 4 will be charged at £2 each.
We will be holding a meet and greet on Thursday 29th August so you can meet the site and the forest school practitioner leading the sessions if you wish.
