Join us for a wonderful meal en enjoy...Brenda Joyce Watty was born in Baltimore, Maryland and began singing in Gospel Choir at a young age. She moved to NYC to study voice and join other musicians in the music business. Brenda studied under the direction of June Monterio, a nationally recognized vocal coach.
After her studies she began to sing with the girls group The Toyswhich had the hit song “A Lovers Concerto.” Brenda, now discovered, began performing with The Marvelettes which had the hit song “Please Mr. Postman.” Her career started to blossom and she went on tour with additional groups including; The Temptation, The Four Tops., The Crystals, Bo Didley, Ricky Nelson of the Ozzie And Harriett show, Desmond Wilson of the Sandford and Son show, and many more.
Ms. Watty, now is in Sarasota, Florida traveling and performing in her one Women Show “It’s My Time”,as well as, singing with various local groups in the Jazz, Pop, Dance and R & B genre.
