Matching will be powered by Matchbox. It’s a software that uses relationship science to find you your most compatible match at the party. It’s also the same technology behind the Marriage Pact, a tradition at 100+ universities that’s matched more than half a million people to date.
How it works:
Upon arrival, you’ll take a matching questionnaire built by Matchbox’s team of relationship scientists and curated by your host.
The Matchbox algorithm will identify your optimal match at the party, based on relationship science, AI, and Nobel Prize-winning economics.
After mingling with the whole group, matches are revealed!

The matching process is highly intentional—come with an open mind!
If your match isn’t love at first sight, that’s okay! The algorithm is designed for long-term compatibility, so at baseline, you’ll be values-aligned.
At the end of the day, this will be a great group of single people. Enjoy meeting everyone, and remember to be kind.
FYI—We aim to maintain a 50/50 male to female ratio but cannot guarantee that all attendees will show up, as life happens. If there is an uneven split, some matches will be paired platonically. These people receive a free ticket to a future event of their choice, valid for 60 days after this event.
Event Structure:
⏳ 6.30 PM — The event begins on time, bar opens, take YOUR quiz~
🚪 8 PM — Doors close, The Algorithm begins computing matches
🕵️ 8 PM — A series of clues to get you closer to your match
💘 8.30 PM — Matches revealed
9 PM — Normal Thursday CONTINUES
Flying Solo? No problem! 💁♀️💁♂️ About 40% of attendees come alone, so even if you’re the only single in your friend group, don’t hesitate to join us solo. You’ll find yourself in great company.
