Our Advanced Choreography & Technique Classes on select Thursday evenings!!Students interested in attending must get permission first, as this is a class for select students who are ready and interested in performing on a regular basis.
Students will be required to take at least one Technique Class weekly with Safiya as well, in order to be able to perform the group choreos.
This LIVE Class is available through Special Request, Invitation or Audition/Interview ONLY
If you are a dancer interested in taking your skills to the stage or becoming a professional dancer, or you just want to ramp up your dance repertoire.....this is the class for you!
This is a class for dedicated dancers only!
Among your classmates you will find members of Troupe Banat Nawaar, as well as dancers who perform professionally.
If you have not been invited to join this class and are interested, please contact Safiya Nawaar to schedule an appointment....we are always looking for more dancers who want to take that next step!
Styles of dance taught in this class include but are not limited to......
Raqs Sharqi, Baladi, Saidi, Turkish Rroma & Orientale, Classical Egyptian, and Theatrical Fusion & Safiya's Serpentine Fusion Style (to name a few).
Classes run aprox. 120+ mins long, all students are required to purchase their own props as needed for the classes. Basic Props required immediately are Sagat and a Silk Veil. Other props will be discussed in class when the time comes.
Class cost: $30.00 Drop in Fee or Use a Class Card (3 punches) or Monthly Unlimited Pass
