Brandon Rose, a multifaceted American artist, embarked on his musical journey at the age of 5 in Detroit’s vibrant church community, fostering a profound love for music influenced by Motown's soulful sounds. Recognized for his exceptional talent, Brandon secured sponsorships with prestigious brands like DR Strings, Gruv Gear, and EBS Professional Bass Equipment. Academically accomplished, he holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Jazz Studies from Michigan State University, refining his skills in upright bass, composition, and arranging.
Enriched by mentorship from bass legends Marcus Miller and Rodney Whitaker, Brandon's versatility spans jazz, gospel, R&B, funk, hip-hop, and pop. Collaborating with renowned artists like Terri Lynn Carrington and contributing to Dan Wilson's album "Things Eternal" on Mack Avenue Records showcase his prowess. As a producer, vocalist, rapper, and songwriter, Brandon's self-produced projects, "Transition" and “Black Rollercoaster,” melds jazz, gospel, R&B, and hip-hop, offering a fresh take on the Motown sound. Through his artistry, Brandon Rose seeks to inspire, uplift, and connect, sharing a message of hope and optimism.
