In this breathtaking in-the-round candlelit concert, Major’s dancers move in perfect harmony with Blue Violin’s genre-defying sound. Featuring a thrilling blend of rock energy, iconic power ballads and classical favourites reimagined through virtuosic live violin loops where the boundaries of music and movement dissolve in the soft glow of five hundred onstage candles.

Lewis Major, Australia’s rising star of contemporary dance and international touring favourite, joins forces live with Blue Violin, founder and first violinist of the Boston String Quartet, conservatory-trained virtuoso and rock and roll maestro who has helped redefine the contemporary classical scene.
Blue Violin, founder of the Boston String Quartet, brings a multimedia experience to his performances, blending original music with covers using a single violin. His virtuosity and production style have been compared to the likes of Lindsey Stirling and 2CELLOS. Blue Violin has performed with renowned artists such as John Mayer, Paul Simon, and members of Celtic Woman and Riverdance.
Described by the Boston Ballet as a “captivating violinist,” the Blue Violin has shared the stage with acclaimed artists like John Mayer, Paul Simon, Jennifer Holliday, the Turtle Island Quartet, Giorgia Fumanti, members of Celtic Woman and Riverdance, and even Sesame Street!
With sold out shows throughout Europe and North America in 2024 the Blue Violin has also performed at the Edinburgh and Edmonton Fringe festivals and will be recording and touring in 2025 with GRAMMY nominated and GMA Dove award winning artists, Sanctus Real.
This year’s performance will feature a mesmerizing repertoire, including a reimagining of classic rock favorites such as "Kashmir", "Footloose", and "Thunderstruck"
