Kick off the Holiday season at our community open house celebration and Giving Tuesday! Join us December 2, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm for an evening filled with fun, creativity, delicious treats, and giving!
We recognize that the holidays can be a challenging time for many, and it's perfectly okay to not feel extra cheerful this time of year. By opening our doors for the holidays, we hope to lift spirits and create new memories together!
Rooted in generosity, Giving Tuesday is a one-day event where we come together to support our community. Each contribution—big or small—is an act of generosity that helps bring about meaningful change.
Visit our Giving Tuesday fundraising page on December 2, and make a donation to support our mission. Thrivent will boost your gift by matching $1 for every $2 raised. Plus, Thrivent is covering all online processing fees so 100% of your gift will go right to our organization!
We’re also hosting a gift card drive for the HOODLUM nonprofit! Bring gift cards (any denomination) to support local families in need this Christmas—drop them off at the event and help make their holidays brighter!
What to Expect:
- Make and Take Snow Globes: Create your own unique holiday decoration to take home!
- Giving Garland with Take-Home Ornaments: This year, you can take home an ornament if you donate from the giving garland! Your donation helps fund programs, outreach, and resources to those in our community who need it most.
- Selfie Station: Capture the magic of the season with fun props and backdrops.
- Thumbs Up Smile Store: Take advantage of the chance to find perfect Christmas gifts at the Thumbs Up Smile Store! Plus, be sure to grab one of our limited edition holiday coffee cups, available while supplies last!
- FREE Raffle Entries: Enter into our raffle for a FREE beanie, just for attending! $5 raffle tickets will also be available to enter to win a limited edition Thumbs Up holiday mug and duffel bag!
- Enjoy FREE Hot Cocoa and Yummy Snacks: Enjoy FREE hot chocolate and yummy snacks!
