November 16th’s bout to be a double dose of high-energy fun. A Headquarters favourite, Marcus L returns to our cages for an All Night Long outing, while Sarah Wild steps Upstairs. 2 headliners, 1 ticket.
Marcus L is a driving force within the South Korean scene – running Faust, one of several staple clubs in Seoul, as well as labels in Ameniia Records and Kammer Radio & Records.
The South Korean DJ and producer has also played all over the world, from Berlin’s Berghain and Panorama Bar to Milan’s Tempio del Futuro Perduto, on top of multiple cities across Asia. His tracks have landed on labels from all around the globe too, namely Intrepid Skin, KAOS and Planet X.
Recollections of nights here in our red room can get hazy, but we can still remember all of the times Marcus L took us on hypnotising and hair-raising journeys through his sets. We’re sure he’s not gonna fall short on the 16th either.
For Sarah Wild, her foray into the underground music world started out as a punter attending raves. When she moved to Berlin, Sarah started to get behind the decks of clubs like Watergate, Kater Blau and Renate.
Her energetic sets which blend acid, Italo, and house have also been at festivals across Europe too – UK’s Into The Woods, Poland’s Summer Contrasts, the Netherlands’ Lago Lago, and Germany’s Fusion.
Sarah’s tracks have been released on labels such as Permanent Vacations, Feines Tier, as well as her own, Midnight Operators. With an undeniable skill for reading crowds, there’s no doubting that she’ll have our attention by the necks. Kevin Sy is on opening duties.
