We’re welcoming P.E.A.R.L. back to Headquarters on the 13th of February, as he steps back into our cage for the very first time after 8 years away.
The Spanish-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer’s sound is shaped by the raw, industrial grit of late-90s techno. After spending his adolescence immersing himself in club culture, P.E.A.R.L. developed a connection to the genre, particularly drawn to the sounds coming out of the UK and Spain.
Renowned for guiding the floor through a twisted, thumping balance of tension and release, he’s thrown it down at hotspots all over the globe such as London’s E1, Chicago’s Smoke & Mirrors, and Tbilisi’s KHIDI.
Doubling as a producer, P.E.A.R.L. has released projects on labels from the likes of BITE, Tar Hallow, and his very own in Falling Ethics.
Upstairs, Headquarters’ sho&tell teams up with Poh to keep the grooves locked from the first kick until the lights come on.
