About this Event

Poppy + Pot’s Lead Potter, Kevin Reichenberg, has created a child friendly approach to making pottery on the wheel. This is a two-part workshop! You’ll bring your child for part-one, ready to throw on Saturday, January 25th and they’ll return on a later date to glaze their piece. The glaze date is part-two and is chosen after the throwing portion. At the end of this workshop, each student will have made their very own piece of art that makes the perfect gift!

Part one: Throwing on the Wheel
January 25th, 12-1pm

Part two: Glaze Day

March 2nd, 12-2pm

When they arrive at the glaze day, students will be given an information sheet with their pots, as well as an assortment of glaze options and brushes/tools. They then have the whole class to glaze at their own pace. Students can pick up their finished pieces shortly after the glaze workshop, Kev will specify the date then.

This is a ticketed event for children and we ask that adults stay in the shop the duration of the class. Tickets are only to be purchased for children.
