oin us to give your houseplants some love with homemade planters!

In this 3-hour workshop with Jenny Beech, you will learn the instructor's techniques for throwing and trimming medium-sized planter with an attached base.

Students will learn step-by-step how to properly shape a rounded planter-form using tools, tips, and tricks that Jenny utilizes in her own studio practice! Jenny will demonstrate throwing a double-walled form on the pottery wheel to create a planter with the saucer attached. These planters are perfect for tabletop display or hanging, as the attached saucer serves to catch any extra water for happy, well-drained plants!
*Note: Students should be comfortable throwing 3 lbs of clay on the wheel*
IMPORTANT: Everyone entering District Clay must be vaccinated. In order to take this workshop, you will need to upload your vaccination card - a link will be sent with your email receipt. You will not be registered for this workshop until your card is uploaded.
Details:
Sunday, October 10, 5PM - 8 PM
Students should be comfortable throwing 3 lbs of clay on the wheel
Cost includes clay, instruction, and firing fees. (macrame/hangers not included)
District Clay will bisque fire your pieces and you can pick them up approximately 2 weeks after the workshop.
