Throwing on the wheel

This fun session offers a taster of throwing on the potter's wheel. It is for any level of experience including absolute beginners!

Learn how to prepare and centre clay before shaping it into a cup or bowl shape.

You will be able to choose one of your creations at the end of the session to be fired and glazed with a clear gloss glaze and your pot will be ready to collect 3-4 weeks after the session.

Please bring your own hand towel and an apron to protect your clothes.

I recommend trimming your nails prior to the session, removing any jewellery, and tying back long hair.
