
About this Event
Large one-piece pottery class for experienced potters that are MakerSpace members.
This class is about throwing larger.
Each student will be allotted a full kiln for bisque and glaze firing in a Skutt 1227.
6 week class starting on 4/6/2025 and end on the last class 5/11/2025. Each class will meet on Sunday from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
The class fee includes 24 hours of instruction time, access to an unlimited supply of recycled clay for throwing large, shelf storage, and the ability to fire multiple finished pieces. Participants should bring their own tools and bats for throwing.
IMPORTANT: Class is open to ages 18 and up.
Please wear appropriate clothing for getting clay on, trim your fingernails, tie back long hair and remove any hand accessories. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that participants bring a towel to drape across their lap.
To maximize the benefits of this class, it is highly recommended to visit the studio for additional practice outside of scheduled sessions.
Pottery pieces not picked after 30 days will be discarded.

Class may be canceled due to low enrollment in which case a full refund will be issued.
