Slugger makes hard-working slacker rock. An eclectic trio with esoteric tastes, a typical Slugger set veers from alt-rock melodies to hardcore rippers, from post-punk balladry to krauty mini-jams, delivered with tongue firmly in cheek and hat firmly in hand.

Low winter sun
Low Winter Sun - a Victoria based, four piece rock band that prominently features a cellist as a core band member, as well as two singer/songwriters who embrace melody and harmony but also like to make some noise. The music has hints of Canadian rock acts like Neil Young or Blue Rodeo (or so they're told). Low Winter Sun is currently working on their second studio album, with new singles already coming out.
