First, we moved to September. October is such a busy month that some players are booked or tired from all the events in that month.
Second, we are adding Roy G Guerrero DGC to the event making it a 2-day, 2 course tournament. Roy G has been reserved for this event.
THE PLAN-- We are shooting for 300-disc golfers' total. That's 150 on each course. Pros will start on Roy G (Saturday) and finish at the Met Center DGC (Sunday). Ams will start on the Met Center DGC (Saturday) and finish at Roy G (Sunday). Headquarters and Vending Area will be at the Met Center DGC. Pool adjustments will be made as registration progresses.
THE BACKUP PLAN-- If we get less than 150 players, we will do one round each per day at each course. Starting with Roy G (Saturday) and finishing with the Met Center DGC (Sunday). Headquarters and vending area will be set up at each course the day of play.
Vendor Village- The Village will be at the Met Center where Headquarters is UNLESS we have to do PLAN B. Then Headquarters will be at Roy G on Saturday and then at Met Center on Sunday. Spaces are $50 per day for a 10 x 10 or $75 per day for a 10 x 20.
Sponsorship- all funds go to tournament expenses.
Tee signs- $50 each unless already made from previous years then $20 each.
Platinum Sponsor- $400- logo on shirts, tee signs, banner, recognition on Facebook and during event and 10 x 20 booth space
Gold Sponsor- $300- logo on shirts, tee signs, banner, recognition on Facebook and during event and 10 x 10 booth space
Silver Sponsor- $200- logo on shirts, tee sign, banner and recognition on Facebook and during event.
Bronze Sponsor- $100- logo on shirts, tee sign and banner.
Entry fee breakdown-
$70 per Pro player payout via PayPal
$50 per Am player payout via Disc Nation gift certificate by email
$15 to charities-players choice
$10 to ace pot for Pro, payout via PayPal
$5 to ace pot for Ams, payout via PayPal
$3 Pro PDGA fee
$2 Ams PDGA fee
$6 per player for trophies
$6 per player for tournament fees
