As part of the Through the Shop Window programme, the café will host “Winter Tales and Crafts with Creeping Toad”, a drop-in family activity led by Buxton’s own storyteller and environmental artist. Known for his engaging, nature-inspired tales and hands-on creativity, Creeping Toad invites children to craft something magical, and enjoy a seasonal story in a warm, festive setting. Sessions run at 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30, with free festive drinks for children to add a touch of sparkle to the experience.
