Sharing music from centuries past to today this group of female creators and performers come together to tell a story from the woman's perspective. Art by Sumayo Salah will encircle the space shifting your perspective through the interactive use of QR codes to animate her illustrations. Singers Miranda Kettlewell and Siena Forest join pianist Carson Rose Schneider and violinist Aja Majkrzak and composer and pianist Emily Boyajian to perform music from early classical eras to today also featuring the premeire of a song cycle by Emily which showcases the viewpoints of some of history's best known literary heroines. This performance is a journey through time with women from women and for women and it will be a night you'll remember. Who run the world? Girls.
Doors open at 6:00pm with a cash bar featuring female owned and crafted adult beverages. Performance begins at 7:00pm. Phones are welcome for a full experience of the visual art on display for this evening. Men are welcome too! We made you after all.
