While UX/UI might not be your specialty, the core principle behind it—Design Thinking—is a powerful tool for creating marketing that truly resonates with your audience. Design Thinking emphasizes human-centric approaches, helping to move beyond corporate jargon and align messaging with real audience needs.
In this roundtable discussion, we’ll dive into Design Thinking using this book as a guide: The Design Thinking Toolbox: A Guide to Mastering the Most Popular & Valuable Innovation Methods. While you don’t need to read the book in advance, feel free to grab a copy on Amazon if you’d like to follow along more closely.
Bring a marketing project to work on during the session—anything from a single social media post to your On-Page SEO will work. It's not required, but it will help you get more out of the event. Either way, we’ll apply Design Thinking principles together and no prior experience is necessary! This is a beginner-friendly event, designed to be engaging, collaborative and hands-on.
This event is in Nashville; if you can't attend on this date, it is also held the week prior in Murfreesboro. (Murfreesboro labs are always first Thursdays, Nashville labs are always on the second Thursday.)
The TDMA is a trade association: Marketing professionals only, must reside in Tennessee.
