Animal welfare is one of the highest priorities for Bristol Zoological Society as it not only ensures happy and content animals, but also supports our conservation and educational goals.
However, there is a lot of confusion around what animal welfare really means and how it is monitored and altered. Come along to find out how our animal welfare scientists are ensuring the highest standards of care for animals at BZS, utilising progressive scientific methods.
This talk will be held from 2.30-3.30pm with plenty of time for questions at the end, ending at 4pm.
Suitable for ages 8+
Bear Wood Classroom (located at the end of the Bear Wood Walkway, please allow 20 minutes to walk to the classroom from arrival at admissions).
