Thrivers is an art show that showcases powerful artwork created by artists impacted by breast cancer. Featured speakers include Advocate Linda Burrowes, founder of Bossom Buddies who speaks about her own breast cancer experience, artist Gustavo Garcia speaks about how breast cancer impacted his family, artist and founder of Badges of Courage Foundation Macarena Zilveti speaks about how breast cancer affected family members. Musician Mike Bara sings songs he composed for his late wife. Poet Chris Joseph Stancato aka Orange Postman recites original poems about healing he wrote for Thrivers. Thrivers is a traveling breast cancer art-themed exhibit that has been held in various venues since 2019. Come join artists, poet, musician, speakers, survivors who gather to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month in a quaint courtyard space in Hollywood.
