Join us for an enriching day filled with learning and growth. Thrive Workshops are designed specifically for early childhood educators and parents. Workshops will feature leading experts and opportunities to connect with fellow attendees (teachers and parents) who share the passion for early childhood and supporting children in their development.

ECEs will receive a certificate of attendance in recognition of the professional development hours accrued by attending this event.

Morning Keynote with Dr Vanessa Lapointe (9 to 12 pm)
Connection Through Conflict

Join Dr Vanessa Lapointe for a transformative exploration of the root of conflict: not only between ourselves and the children we are caring for, but also within ourselves. Discover how relationships play a central role in conflict, and how self-discovery can help us to better understand the impact of our narratives and reactions.

Dr. Vanessa Lapointe is an international speaker, best-selling author, parenting educator, a mom to two beautiful boys and the founder of The North Star Developmental Clinic.

Afternoon Workshop with David Loyst (1 to 3 pm)
“So what can I do about it?": How to manage conflict in relationships with children, partners, colleagues, clients, etc.

During this interactive session, David will provide opportunities for caregivers and professionals to share their stories and concerns about working through conflict while gaining a better understanding of themselves.

David is a co-director of The North Star Developmental Clinic and has been working with children and families for over 30 years as a Speech Language Pathologist, a Behavioural Consultant and a Parent Coach/Educator.

Afternoon Workshop with Ranbir Puar (1 to 3 pm)
Go Wide: Harnessing Your Resilience Through Life’s Challenges

What if your toughest times are exactly where you discover and anchor into how truly resilient and capable you are? In this workshop, we’ll go beyond just surviving tough moments and how to thrive in them. You will leave you feeling empowered and ready to tackle life’s challenges with skill, wisdom, and an unwavering belief in your own capability.
