About this Event
As the nation’s first independent Black history museum and a cultural anchor for nearly 65 years, The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center has stood as a beacon of origin, memory, and possibility. This year, we extend our legacy to Miami Art Basel bringing our stories, our brilliance, and our global creative community to one of the world’s largest stages for contemporary art.Join us at Youth Concept Gallery for an immersive afternoon that honors where we come from and imagines where we’re going.
This gathering is inspired by Paris in Black, our landmark exhibition exploring the internationalism and artistic rebirth of the Black Renaissance in Paris.
As we look toward DuSable’s 65th Anniversary in 2026, we invite you into a celebration of heritage, innovation, and the enduring power of Black creativity across borders.
