About this Event

Receive 1:1 application assistance at our in-person Application Assistance Day. Cultural Funding staff will be present to assist Elevate and Thrive applicants. Choose a time slot to attend. A Spanish language interpreter will be available on-site.

  • Sessions will be recorded and posted on our website.
  • All applicants are welcomed!

</h4><h4>This year, the Thrive Grant and Elevate Grant applications are combined. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, July 23 at 7:00 PM.</h4>



About the Thrive Grant:

The Thrive grant offers focused investment to sustain and grow local arts nonprofit organizations deeply rooted in and reflective of Austin’s diverse cultures. Applicants must have a minimum of five-year history of producing arts and culture activities in the Austin metro area. Awarded grants range from $85,000 to $150,000 per year for the 2-year contract. Nonprofit applicants not awarded in Thrive will automatically be considered for Elevate. Read the .



About the Elevate Grant:

The Elevate Grant offers $15,000 to $80,000 grants for arts organizations, individual artists, and creative businesses that produce culturally vibrant and diverse artistic content. Applicants must have a minimum of one-year history of producing arts and culture activities in the Austin metro area. Grant funds may be used for creative, administrative, and operational expenses incurred in producing creative activities and events for the people of Austin and its tourists. Read the .

Join us for Open Office Hours on Zoom! Get your Grant Application questions answered. Attend Economic Development Department's Virtual Open Office Hours from 10:00 AM to Noon, every Tuesday, through the application deadline. No appointment necessary.

  • Day before deadline: Monday, July 22, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Day of deadline: Tuesday, July 23, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
