Framed art can be expensive! Am I right? Thrift stores have beautifully framed art, but it may not be to your liking. However, frames with pre-sealed art can still be used to create stunning DIY Framed Art if you are willing to put in a little work.Join me, Leslie Clarke, as we transform previously framed/sealed art into one of a kind, gorgeous, framed art you'll be proud to have in your home or give as a gift. The workshop includes one decoupage fiber paper design up to $20 value, paint, decoupage gel, use of framing tool supplies, hanging hooks, and decor wax to add some glam.
For this workshop, you will need to bring one (1) thrifted framed art, maximum size 25"x30" or two (2) smaller sizes not to exceed 25"x30" total size, complete with backing, canvas, etc. Don't deconstruct it yet. Bring it as is unless the frame is plastic. Plastic needs to be primed with Bonding Boss or other bonding primer 24 hours prior to the workshop. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions to make sure you're ready for class.
Limited seating (6)
Cost: $50 *includes decoupage fiber paper allowance ($20 value)
