About this Event
This route takes us through the impressive Lud’s Church, before making our way to Three Shires Head, the point at which the three counties of Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire meet. After taking in the beautiful waterfalls, we’ll be making our way back to Gradbach.
There are several stiles to cross and gates to pass through along this trail. Some areas can be muddy and waterlogged, and some sections of our route will involve rocky and uneven terrain. Appropriate footwear is essential. The hike also includes some inclines. Please ensure you have adequate levels of fitness to take part in this hike.

- Walking poles (optional)
- Snacks & water
There will be breaks throughout the walk. Bring snacks and plenty of water. Please dress appropriately for the weather, including walking boots, waterproofs and layers. There is an option for a dip at Three Shires Head, please bring swimwear and towels if you’d like a swim!

There is an option for transport from Birmingham for this hike. For those travelling by minibus, the meeting point is Wellington Road, Edgbaston, B15 2ES.
