Come and blow away the post Christmas cobwebs on an easy, scenic 11-mile circular walk in northern Bolton countryside. This route takes us around three picturesque reservoirs - Jumbles, Turton & Entwsitle, and Wayoh Reservoirs. We will cross over beautiful moorland on the Witton Weaver's Way, through forest, passing Turton Tower, before descending to return along Jumbles. With a total elevation of 1000ft (300m), this route is relatively flat for walking in this area, but with some small climbs and descents throughout. The trail is on mainly large tracks and road with the potential to be boggy in places. We will need to negotiate several gates, kissing gates, flights of steps and a couple of stiles on route.
Well behaved, friendly (with other dogs and people), agile dogs are welcome (max. 2 per person), but please note we may encounter livestock enroute.
As with all Abigail's Trails, this is a small-group guided walk led by a professional Mountain Leader. Spaces are limited, cost £15 per person and must be booked through the ticket link.
Children aged 7+ are welcome to attend with a participating adult.
Please ensure you have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions and GDPR Privacy Notice prior to booking.
