Presenters

Justin Spaulding holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University. He started his career in aviation soon after returning to the US from living, and working, six years in Tokyo, Japan. He joined an aviation parts brokerage company in Irvine, California that was seeking to hire a candidate who could speak Japanese to help them penetrate the Japanese aviation market. During his six years at the Irvine based company, Justin successfully acquired multiple airline accounts in Japan and the surrounding Asian region.

In 2000 he launched The145.com, the aviation industry’s first internet business focused exclusively on the MRO market. The145.com was the first database to offer industry average repair cost data to overhaul, repair and test components. Today, The145.com is the industry’s largest repair database with over 3 million repair capabilities listed by over 400 repair centers worldwide.

In May of this year Justin launched an additional aviation database called TearDowns.aero, a revolutionary website designed to be the industry's first database for listing aircraft and engines for teardown, as well as giving airlines and parts suppliers the ability to pre-buy material from teardowns, before the dismantling process begins.

Brock Booher grew up on a farm in Kentucky, the fourth of ten children. One day while he was out working the fields in the hot summer sun, a low-flying military jet came screaming overhead, barely missing the trees and disappearing like a shooting star. Right then he decided that flying looked like more fun than farming. He left the farm in pursuit of his dream, graduated from Brigham Young University, and headed off to pilot training in the US Air Force. After his Air Force service, he transitioned to commercial airline flying in the Boeing 737 and has over fifteen thousand hours of flying time.

In addition to his pursuits as a pilot, he has taught courses on time management, risk management, leadership, and goal setting. He enjoys stretching his creativity through writing, and his works have been published in magazines, nonfiction books, short stories, and novels.

He recently took on the role of President of Volant Systems, specializing in training and risk management. He also is a partner of Flight Path Vectors, specializing in professional pilot development.

Whistler Cherubin is the Cofounder of Trip/ IN. He is passionate about Marketing, New Technology, Data Analytics and Innovative solutions.

Communication and Project Management are the two main themes of my professional career. I have held various positions that all had one common objective in mind: to find a way to facilitate communication and deliver it to the right target.

On the one hand, I believe in my project and on the other hand that each individual has the ability to fulfil his or her ambitions and dreams.

Tomorrow, my sector will be in permanent expansion. More and more travellers, more and more roads, more and more infrastructure development, services, and connectivity. The future is to continue the transformation of airports into tourist destinations and make them even more profitable. The future lies in the use of Big Data and new technologies to best accommodate the number of passengers and offer them the best possible experience.
