Become inspired by three musical partnerships that encouraged and championed Black classical music. As cultural pioneers from various backgrounds, these performing partners found connection in the shared experience of navigating multiple worlds, and actively helped to bring new music to the public. United Strings of Color invites you to learn about this blossoming of appreciation for Black classical music through our performance of chamber works and the relaying of some fascinating stories. This event is made possible by a Community Spotlight Grant from the United Arts Council Wake Countyand the Town of Apex. Seating is limited and tickets are just $5.
