Three Cent Nickel
Just a little bit about Three Cent Nickel (Buck Cooper and Troy Estes). We’re an acoustic duo that plays mostly Classic Country and Rock. Think “Bob Seger to Hank Jr” as well as many more between those lines. Buck was born in Texas but raised in the heart of the Bluegrass State and steeped in Lexington's musical history. His voice is a presence to be reckoned with.
Troy, now in Stamping Ground Ky hails from the Appalachian foothills of Estill County where old time country and storied songs and bluegrass still reign. His talent and range seem endless with true “Grassy” harmonies And rich lead vocals. Together they bring the audience into the night with good music, some striking vocals and harmonies , some pretty fair picking and their own way of presentation that is unique if not at times, off the wall.
