About this Event
We are excited to announce that Hope United Survivor Network will be hosting the fourth annual Threads of Hope event on October 24, 2024. This event has experienced remarkable growth over the years, and in 2023, we raised over $40,000 to support survivors in our community. All funds raised are directed back to these individuals and their families as they navigate their healing journeys. We invite you to be part of this meaningful event!
This year, we are thrilled to welcome Mark Wynn as our speaker. A leader in the fight against domestic violence, Mark has dedicated more than 30 years to training law enforcement and professionals across the country on effective responses to domestic violence. As the founder of Nashville's first domestic violence unit, his work is featured in the powerful film "This Is Where I Learned Not To Sleep," which highlights his journey from a childhood filled with violence to becoming a pivotal figure in developing compassionate police strategies and breaking the cycle of abuse. Mark was also the first White House advisor on violence against women and has provided training both nationally and internationally.
