About this Event
Join us at the 2024 Thousand 4 £1000 Ceilidh and help raise funds to house homeless refugees and forced migrants in Brighton & Hove. This is a family friendly event suitable for older children.
We have a live band - Moves Afoot - and a caller for the dancing, so you'll be able to join in even if you've never been to a ceilidh before.
Please note, there is no licensed bar at this event, but you are very welcome to bring your own alcohol and drinks and we will have glasses available.
The ticket price includes a meal at the start of the evening. There will be a raffle and we will have cake for sale. Pay cash or card.
The venue is St Mary's Church, 5 Surrenden Road, Brighton, BN1 6PA. There is a bus stop right outside served by the 5B service. It is a 15min walk from Preston Park station. Fully wheelchair accessible.
Doors open 6.45pm, food will be served at 7.15pm.
Advance tickets only - no tickets on door!
