Formed in early 2023 as a supergroup consisting of members of bands such as Rash decision, Bangers & Tinnedfruit. 3 friends with a desire to play caveman riffs with chainsaw guitars, fuzzed out bass and blasting drums. Thoughtseize combine old school Swedish death metal riffs with the drive of 80's thrash with modern punk rock ethics and lyrics inspired by trading card game Magic the gathering. F.EMASCULATA (uk)
Cornwall's F.Emasculata formed in 2011, containing members of Rash Decision, Tinnedfruit and Swansong. What started as just an idea for an EP grew into a machine no one expected. Having conquered the west coast of the USA on a two week tour in 2023, the band have been busy playing festivals all over the UK and writing new material in 2024. Inspired by the fast and frantic output of bands such as Look Back and Laugh, G.L.O.S.S, War on Women and Punch, you can expect a razor sharp performance drenched in fast hardcore riffs and bouncy moshpits, countered by some moments of heavy Melvins-inspired discordant sludge, creating new sounds in a genre that relies far too often on what came before it. Fusing elements of punk, hardcore, fastcore, grind and powerviolence with a sense of joy, the band will be releasing their new album "Bright Lights, Drilled Teeth" in Feb 2025 via Dead Invoices Records/Pumpkin Records and No Time Records (USA). The band are X Files themed - expect songs about coverups and government conspiracies.
