To mark 200 years of railways, we're celebrating steam in Teesdale for our August Open Day. As well as steam locomotive O4 pulling the trains, we'll be joined by some miniature steam traction engines!Entry fee is only £3.50 per person (under 5s and members free) - cash only please - which includes as many train rides as you like.
Drinks and light refreshments will be on sale, so why not bring a picnic blanket and make an afternoon of it.
Plenty of parking available on the field. Don't forget, access is from the south of the river only, as Whorlton Bridge is closed for repair.
