Thornwold welcomes friends for a day of A&S classes and activities, bardic competition, potluck feasting (for details on the menu and signups, see posts to come) and a gift exchange to celebrate the year we have had and look forward to the next at the Rome Grange, 2821 Mt Baker Hwy, Bellingham, WA 98226. There are no site fees for this event!Any contributions will be happily accepted for a dessert auction, please be sure ingredients list is included.
Please bring battery candles for mood lighting at tables. Feel free to decorate your tables in a festive fashion.
A silent auction will also be available.
If you wish to participate in the gift exchange, please bring a wrapped gift, $25 spending limit.
Please note: We have some Shire friends who have severe allergies to nuts and fragrance/strong scents. Please keep this in mind and refrain from bringing or using anything that could cause them harm.
This event is held and managed by the Shire of Thornwold, a branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. and is considered the official channel of this group here.
